I ran 125 for a while but ultimately ticked it down to 120. I don't think she likes the special sauce, Rick. I normally prefer higher saturation, probably due to being colorblind. Just installed it and it's nice to be able to turn up the saturation. ![]() What vibrantdeck settings do people like? I've pulled out all my AV equipment and I'm plugging things inĭo i need a TOSlink cable? my tv does have this out i've got all kinds of audio eqipment and cables. ![]() If i understand correctly, usually it's a third RCA plug that carries the other channels? I've got an old sony receiver from the 90s that knows dolby surround, this TV's probably 15 years old. Thanks for getting me working on surround sound. You are always at the point where you wanna take notes in La Mulana, you just don't always know it La Mulana fans rejoice! (I've barely played that game and I'm not even close to being anywhere that needs to be noted, but still.) Rupert Buttermilk posted: Valve is allegedly working on letting us take notes during games.Īs mentioned in the article, it'd kind of be like how early game manuals used to have blank or lined pages for notes. Overall this is great, MW runs with almost the same performance on the deck as it does on the gaming pc (grated, locked to 40fps and the lower resolution). Used steam link to do all of the deck operations via my PC, which made this much easier. If anyone else is really struggling on this I can dig up the specifics of where I had to deviate from your instructions. The openHUD files ended up in the wrong directory too (this I think was a function of the openMW install), so I moved those as well. The data paths for the mods directories got messed up somehow in the transfer, so I also had to manually fix those in the same file. I installed morrowind via steam, so had to change the first line in openmw.cfg data paths from what you had (Heroic) to the steam install path. I tried this on the deck, didn't get it to work the first time, then got it working on my PC which helped me figure it out on the deck (working now). ![]() We have found that many Xbox controllers require a firmware update before they will function as expected with the Steam Deck, for example.Ĭrossposting from the MW thread, I got it working with some futzing around: If you are having issues connecting or maintaining pairing with your controller, check for software/firmware updates. Make sure that Steam is set to not download game updates during gameplay Try to position the Steam Deck away from your wireless router or other 2.4GHz devices to avoid interference.Ĭheck that any high bandwidth USB3 accessories such as hard drives, webcams, or capture cards are as far away from the Steam Deck body as possible - similarly to 2.4GHz devices, 5 Gbps USB3 can interfere with bluetooth and WiFi radios. If you're using WiFi, please try to connect to a 5GHz access point, as Bluetooth is transmitted at 2.4GHz. Using a wired ethernet connection (if applicable) through the dock can improve Bluetooth performance Below are a few things to try if you are having issues with a Bluetooth connection on the Steam Deck.Įnsure the Deck has a clear line of sight to where the controller is being used and is not behind a TV or inside a cabinet Often wireless controllers or audio devices are used with the Steam Deck. I've got a miserably long plane trip coming up this week and I'm going to see how close I can get to knocking out all the Boneraiser achievements. ![]() Vampire Survivor runs feel like a bigger time investment and are more frustrating when you misjudge and die mid-run. Boneraiser feels like a more coherent game and the achievements feel less tedious to pursue. Like for a game that made so much money it still looks loving awful.īoneraiser feels much more like a game with systems that interlock, rather than just a broken builds test chamber.Īgree with you on preferring Boneraiser to Vampire Survivors, though I didn't bounce as hard off the art/style of VS. The main thing that put me off VS is that it feels so janky (comes from being a javascript game i guess) and looks so poo poo. Thanks to whoever posted about boneraiser minions- so far its fab and way more appealing than vampire survivors.
